What is Lovebay.co.uk and how does it work?
Lovebay is a fun and safe way of meeting a new friend or partner. Anyone can browse through the online profiles and unlike some other online services, it's totally free! Even if you see someone who takes your eye! It is highly recommended that you do take the time to join Lovebay however, otherwise how is that special person going to find you?

As soon as you have joined, you can login for the first time, upload a photo and activate your Lovebay Personal Mailbox. Your e-mail address will be kept anonymous, and will not be shared with any 3rd parties.

What if I forget my Lovebay Username or Password?
Click the link on the login page to have your username and password mailed to you.

Why do I keep having to re-login every time I view a page?
When you login, a 'cookie' is sent to your PC to allow you unrestricted access for the rest of your session. Lovebay sessions timeout after 5 minutes of inactivity (for security reasons in internet cafes, for example). Please ensure that you have cookies enabled in your web browser options.

If you are an AOL user, you may need to delete some cookies from your system. Unfortunately, the custom AOL browser can only hold so many cookies from various sites at any one time. Contact AOL for further help.

Spamming
As we are a free site, it is unfortunate that we may be prone to the issue of spamming on the internet. We are continually introducing measures to counteract this, and have postponed introducing a payment authentication system to deter abuse of our free service. If you would prefer a payment system that would discourage such activity then we welcome your suggestions. In the meantime, please report any activity which contravenes our safe conduct policy, or if you feel someone is abusing the site in anyway.
